Policies and Parent Information

Payment Information

Tuition is due by the fifth of each month and we accept Venmo, cash, or check. A tuition statement will be emailed to you on the first of the month. Tuition is the same amount each month even though some months have more or less school days. Tuition is calculated by a yearly tuition charge divided by the nine months that school is in session. We do not offer make up days or reduction in tuition for days missed.

Withdrawing Your Little One

A two week notice is required to withdraw your little one.  Tuition will continue to be billed through the duration of the two week notice provided.

Health Policy

We require all little ones to be in good health to attend school. Please contact us if your little one is ill. If you think your little one could have been contagious at school, please let us know as soon as possible even if you are not positive.

Little ones should not come to school if within 24 hours they have: had a fever, vomited or had diarrhea, had green nasal discharge, had an uncontrollable cough, or are still in the contagious time frame from their particular illness.

Please follow our health policy to avoid spreading illness!

Arrival & Departure

We do not have the option for early drop off or late pick up. Please call the school if there is a pickup delay. If little ones are continuously picked up late, there will be a $5 charge per 15 minutes. We will only release your little one to those specified on your registration form so please keep it up to date.

Please pick up your little ones at the front steps of the school. I will bring all little ones out to the benches on the porch and they will come meet you at the steps when you arrive.

Media Use

We have a website where we post pictures of your little ones at school. Please opt out of this option on your registration form if this is not something you want to participate in.

Clothing

Please send little ones with a spare change of clothes in a labeled plastic bag inside their backpack. Please label backpacks and cold weather gear with your little one’s initials. Please send little ones in clothes they can paint and play in. Please dress modestly to help keep everyone safe and comfortable. We ask that little ones remove their shoes when they arrive at school so please send them in shoes with socks.

Birthdays and Holidays

We celebrate holidays and birthdays at school! If you would like to bring something to celebrate please bring stickers that we can all share. Each little one will be provided with their own sticker book and we will collect stickers all throughout the year! They will take home their sticker book at the end of the year. We will contact you to set up a day to celebrate your little one’s birthday in class.

We will send home information on celebration for holidays as they approach. We strive to keep our little ones in best health by feeding them nutritious, whole foods as much as possible. We ask that you keep this in mind if you desire to send a food item for holidays. Food will need to be prepackaged by a store. Fresh produce is also allowed and fruit is a wonderful treat!

Show & Tell

We will have a day set apart for Show & Tell for each little one on the last day of school. Please do not allow toys and other items to come to school without requesting permission with a teacher. Little ones will be asked to keep anything that makes its way into school in their backpacks.

Outdoor Play

Please send appropriate clothing for the weather. We will play outside each day unless we are in single digit weather, air quality is “orange” or worse, or it is a “soaking” storm.
